Alex Dale, the master winemaker behind the Radford Dale, wasn’t born in South Africa. It was during his early years in winemaking that he was invited to visit the country for a guest vintage. Alex rapidly fell in love with the country and quickly vowed to adopt it as his homeland. The moment apartheid fell and Nelson Mandela was elected, Alex packed up and moved to the country from England and began making some of the country’s finest wines - the rest is history,
