2018 Sis & Mae Wine Co Pinot Noir Van Duzer Corridor
The Van Duzer Corridor is one of Oregon’s newest AVAs. A cool but persistent wind blows through this gap in the Coast Range off of the Pacific Ocean, acting almost as a natural air conditioner to the vineyards this wine is sourced from. This contributes to the ability for us to hang the fruit for a long, cool ripening period in which fruit flavor development is enhanced but the acidity is retained. It also creates nice, thick skins which create a substantial structure and body to this wine.
