These Syrah grapes were grown in the Sonoma Mountain appellation, where morning fog and cool evening air moderate the warm summer days, allowing for a longer ripening period. The mountain's volcanic soil adds character, depth, and complexity to the terroir, producing this full-bodied Estate Syrah that has richly layered forward fruit flavors, abundant mid-palate sensations, a touch of spice, and a lingering finish. This vintage is deep, succulent, and concentrated. Barrel-aged for 42 months in artisanal-coopered oak barrels, creating additional layers of complexity. We produced 188 cases.
