Arianna Wines Malbec 2017

A traditional red wine from France and Argentina, this Malbec can be enjoyed with food or appreciated with age. From the Lake County region of California, this vineyard enjoys long summer days and cold winter nights. Dark red in color the wine dances along the glass; the nose showing delicate aromas of cherries and cranberries. Still young, and able to age for 10+ years, the palate is very fruit forward with tart red and black cherry, blackberries, and plum. Nice, subtle caramelized flavors, and a touch of white pepper and dried herbs tantalize the senses. The sip disappears with ripe but restrained soft tannins and a long, lingering finish. This Malbec pairs well with fresh and cured meats, spicy dishes, and dry cheeses.
