Ashton Vineyard Pinot Noir 2012

2012 was exceptional, with a long sunny year providing a promising harvest. This dry-farmed old vine Pinot Noir holds its delicacy while showing a bit more complexity and medium-bodied character. The fully ripened fruit was triple hand-sorted and underwent whole berry fermentation. Aged for 34 months in French oak artisan coopered barrels to round out the luscious flavor and offer a bit of spice in the middle and a silky smooth lingering finish. We produced 116 cases.
