2017 Cuvee Christiane has a deep garnet-purple color and notes of baked plums, boysenberries, and cassis with hints of pencil lead, fertile loam, and tar. Medium-bodied, the palate gives just enough earthy black fruit flavors with a soft texture and background freshness, finishing on a peppery note.
