Carhill CellarsWillamette Valley, Oregon
Carhill Cellars is a passion project dedicated to the people and loved ones who have been affected by cancer. The mission of Carhill Cellars is to raise money for cancer research and we are doing so by crafting high-quality wines from Oregon and dedicating 100% of the profits to this mission.
Carhill Cellars was founded in 2018 by Kevin Simback and named in honor of his mother, Carole Hill, who sadly passed away in 2019 after a hard fought battle with brain cancer. Carole loved a nice glass of wine and Kevin could think of no better way to honor his mother than to make wine and use the profits to help others in the fight against cancer.
Kevin began producing wines in Oregon after meeting with renowned winemaker Michael Lundeen and describing his objectives for the new project. As chance would have it, Michael was familiar with a special vineyard in the northern hills of Willamette Valley, and after seeing the potential for the vineyard, Kevin worked with the owner to enter into a long term relationship so he and Michael can guide the wines for future vintages and fulfill the mission of making high-quality wines that give back!
