Calcagno Cellars Sheridan Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
A near perfect thriving season of warm and steady growing weather in 2014 leads to one of our most ideal vintages from Sheridan Vineyard in Zillah, WA. Planted in the year 2000 at 1,000 ft elevation on the south-facing, rolling hilltop of Rattlesnake Hills AVA. Showcasing elegant tannings and a vibrant bouquet of dark fruits, bursting of plum and black cherry, delicately handing off to soft lavender and light tea finish but amidst hints of sturdy tobacco and toasted leather notes. Decant for a spectacular, long-lasting rich finish and cellar up to 15 years. 14.3% alcohol. Aged 22 months in 65% New American Oak and 35% Neutral French & Oregon Oak. Only 246 cases produced.
