Smokescreen Napa Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
Vineyards & Winemaking
Every year we search the Napa Valley for the best fruit we can find to bring you a Smokescreen Cabernet that you can afford to drink at home on a Tuesday night or pour at dinner with friends on the weekend. Although primarily Cab, we blended in some Merlot and a touch of Malbec to add layers and elegance. This year our grapes came from some of the top vineyards in Oakville, St Helena, Stags Leap, Rutherford, Atlas Peak, and Oak Knoll.
Tasting Notes
From the 98-point 2016 vintage, our new Smokescreen Napa Valley Cabernet is a big, fruit-forward wine. It is purple in color with tons of textures.
It combines nuance and elegance while still showing a powerful side that you expect from a Napa cab. This wine is ready to drink now but will age well.
