Vinification: This Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir was fermented in open top stainless tanks, manually punched down, aged in 25% one year old and 75% neutral French oak barrels for 12 months, bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Tasting Notes: This Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir has aromas of black cherries, dried raspberries, molasses and vanilla, along with subtle toasted oak notes. It is highlighted by undertones of forest floor and sage with flavors of ripe red fruits to round out the bouquet. On the palate, there is an interplay between soft tannins and acidity, producing a long and gentle finish.
Food Pairing Suggestions: This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with pork, fowl, salmon, tuna, and roasted mushrooms
