91 POINTS - WINE ENTHUSIAST
"This full-bodied wine adds smoky oaky peppery flavors to the grape variety's natural black-fruit and tannin combo for a rowdy, beefy personality that rivals a savory Syrah. The tannins feel tight, however, and the wine needs time to mellow. Best after 2024."
